Born in 1966, studied at the FH Aachen, Department of Communications Engineering. From 2004 to 2018 Head of Testing at the notified European testing centre: PIA GmbH Prüfinstitut für Abwassertechnik. Founder of the Institute for Decentralised Infrastructure and the company AQUA CleanConzept in 2018. Member of the DIBt's "Sewage Treatment Technology" expert committee, deputy chairman of the DIN NA 119-05-04 AA working committee on small wastewater treatment plants and, since 2015, nominated representative on the European standardisation committee CEN/TC165/WG41 Small Wastewater Treatment Plants.
